John Alexander Jimenez has been working in film and video production for over a decade, with great success. His highlights are the numerous short films and commercials, which have not only given him the expertise of his craft, but have also won numerous awards. One award the he is especially proud of is the 2000 Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission Emerging Artist Award for his cinematography. Success started early in 1996, when he became the Director of Photography on the feature film Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane (1998). After the 1998 Sundance festival, he decided to write and direct his first film, Taco Heaven (1998). This film was seen around the country via the film festival circuit, and ended as one of the 13 films shown at the Smithsonian's "Best of Fest Week". He now freelances in the advertising world as a Director/ DP and is quickly winning awards and notoriety in this arena. His biggest accomplishment to date is the feature film "Fugitive Hunter", which he wrote and directed, is now being distributed nationally by Lion’s Gate.
